Public hospitals are located at Caloundra and Nambour. 24 hour medical centres are located throughout the coast and many hotels and resorts have doctors on call. Dialling 000 will reach emergency services.

Australian Eastern standard time is GMT plus 10 hours. Daylight saving is not observed in Queensland.
